On behalf of APG, we developed a sustainable solution for IKEA Switzerland for mega posters at railway stations. The aim was to implement environmentally friendly materials and resource-saving processes and installation techniques.

Implementation and choice of materials

The PVC-free poster made from recycled PET was selected for its sustainability and compliance with the strict requirements of SBB, APG and IKEA. Particular focus was placed on European production, short transport routes and an environmentally friendly value chain.

• 100% PVC-free, sustainable and flame-retardant
• High wind load resistance thanks to strong tear resistance
• Ultra-light, easy to handle, reduced CO2 emissions

Conclusion

This project shows that ecological materials are possible without compromising on quality. It sends a strong signal for sustainable innovation and strengthens the collaboration between APG and IKEA Switzerland.
