Striking illustrations by Patrizia Stalder are dedicated to the themes of love and Hölstein (the village where Oris is based). These, together with the temporary facade makeover, contrive elegantly to put the people of Basel in the mood for a magical Advent. This eye-catcher is a visual art gift for the fans of Maison Oris to mark its fifth birthday. But that’s not all. The artistic tour de force ushers in the launch of an exhibition by this well-known Basel illustrator.
With its artistic makeover of the facade for Christmastime, Oris is contributing to Basel’s cultural diversity. This project shows how creatively and swiftly a building facade can be thrust temporarily into the limelight. Thanks to close cooperation between all the players involved, the whole project was done and dusted within ten days. Request, quote, approval, measuring the facade, CAD drawings, contour plans of the external facade, illustrations (Patrizia Stalder), preparation of the data, good to go, production of facade cladding and, finally, installation overnight.
