The traditional Christmas market in Zurich's old town is a popular place to meet during the Advent period. For the Zurich association of special businesses, we use pretty round tents and wooden chalets to create a magical Advent atmosphere surrounded by historic facades as an inviting place to spend time.
We are responsible for the overall planning, working closely with our subsidiary India Zelt & Event AG, from coordinating with the authorities through to implementation of the market, including all labelling and signage elements.
Around 40 exhibitors from Zurich present their products in the lovingly designed double-sided timber stands during Christmastime. Three round tents – one for catering, one for grilled specialities and one for cultural events – enhance the atmosphere for visitors to the market.
Behind all the glitter and sparkle lies meticulous planning and precisely planned logistics. As a logistics and temporary construction specialist, India Zelt & Event AG handles all of the logistics and implementation on site, including managing the construction of the three round tents. Year after year, we realize one of Zurich's prettiest Christmas markets.
