The branches in Lucerne and Stans now have state-of-the-art digital LED-based POS systems, which we had the pleasure of implementing.
In Lucerne, an innovative 180° curved LED screen with a pixel pitch of just 1.8 mm is attracting attention in the display window. This is supplemented by a semi-circular analogue pillar above and below the LED screen, which was seamlessly integrated into the existing shop fittings. There is also a transparent 6 mm LED screen in the suspended ceiling to attract customers’ attention and cleverly direct them to the range on the first floor.
A three-sided U-shaped LED pillar has been installed at the branch in Stans – a technical highlight that was realised thanks to precise planning and special assembly constructions. The biggest challenge was in ensuring easy service access despite the short distance of just 6 cm to the shop front. To do so, our Digital Experience team developed an innovative solution in which the LED screen can be split into two parts and removed from the construction when necessary.
Ultra-modern LED systems from Digilux AG in Volketswil were used for the installation. We took care of the planning, construction, implementation and installation, while the content is fed in and controlled via the “PlayEverywhere” CMS from our sister company Netvico GmbH in Stuttgart.
With these tailor-made digital POS systems we are optimizing the customer experience at the point of sale and demonstrating how technology and design can be combined seamlessly.
