Together with our partner MAAS+ROOS SIGNAGE GmbH we were asked to create two striking, front-lit illuminated logos for Chicorée's new central warehouse in Brunegg. On the south façade, the large logo measures 17.5 x 8.6 metres, and the smaller one on the east façade 9.0 x 4.4 metres.
We planned, drew, made samples and assembled the entire substructure including the perforated metal plates. For assembly, the illuminated logos were affixed to the specially created construction consisting of Z profiles and 110 perforated metal plates. The large logo comprises around 140 individual components in total.
And the technology is quite sophisticated too: in the large logo, 945 LED modules with 2,835 individual LED lights provide subtle, consistent illumination. The output is 1,686 watts – comparable to that of a standard hairdryer. The smaller logo has 313 LED modules and 939 individual LEDs with an output of 558 watts, mounted on 66 perforated metal plates.
Both illuminated logos are dimmable and ensure an eye-catching or subtle brand presence, depending on the time of day.
